Hey, I’m Anthony Dias…

Bringing a client’s vision to life is literally my favorite thing to do. Weaving the best elements of a location, teasing out gentle nuances with light, collaborating with talent and wardrobe to evoke exactly the right feeling – then harmonizing it all into an expressive narrative is my passion. As a director, DP, and photographer in the automotive and lifestyle space, I blend classic practical technique with cutting-edge innovation to produce work that’s timeless yet contemporary. My expertise in both motion and stills means I can embrace the scale of any endeavor to make sure your vision is not only captured, but elevated.

I’m a huge gear nerd, my camera is – quite literally - always within reach.  From a young age, I was drawn to dramatic landscapes, classic cars, and have always just really liked people- knowing them, watching them, and exchanging ideas and energy with them. I got my start in the Los Angeles advertising scene and was lucky enough to have been mentored for many years by some of the best commercial artists in the industry. I gained a diverse collection of skills and experiences; running huge sets and intimate ones, cast talent and high-end celebrity, exotic locations and studio. When I landed in that sweet spot at the intersection of fashion and automotive, it felt like the perfect fit.

Growing up in a tight-knit family, I learned to value respect and honesty, core beliefs that inform every day spent on and off set.  I thrive in a collaborative environment and absolutely love when a team member shares an idea or perspective that propels a project to the next level.

 When I’m not on set or working on projects, I might be at a classic car show with my kids, chillin at the beach with the fam, or restoring a car in the garage. Or most likely of all, you’ll find me out exploring with my camera, absorbing the endless, beautifully simple micro-stories in the world all around me.
